AI singing voice generator: a cappella vocals in 10 languages
DeckBe's Voice Lab is an AI singing voice generator that creates an a cappella vocal (sung, rapped or chanted, with no beat or instruments) from one of 108 style cards in 10 languages, at the BPM and key you set. It runs in the browser and the iOS and Android apps, and a 30-second vocal uses 15 usage credits.

What is an AI singing voice generator?
It turns musical choices into a sung vocal without a singer in the room. In DeckBe there is no long text prompt: you pick a style card, a voice and a language, set tempo and key, and either write lyrics or let AI write them; Chant is the wordless option. The result is an isolated vocal stem for your beat or a new track.
Is Voice Lab a vocal synth?
Not in the plugin sense. A vocal synth is usually software you install in a DAW and program note by note. Voice Lab works the other way round: you choose a style, a voice, a language, a tempo and a key, and it sings a complete take in the browser or the DeckBe iOS and Android apps, with nothing to install. On a paid plan you download the take as MP3 or WAV and bring it into your DAW.
How do you generate a singing voice with AI in DeckBe?
- Pick a style card. In Vocal Generate, choose a category and one of 108 style cards.
- Choose the voice. Female, Male, Duet or Chant, then one of 10 languages.
- Shape the performance. Optionally set delivery, tone and layers, or leave them on Auto.
- Match your beat. Set the BPM within the card's range and a key in Camelot notation.
- Add words. Write your own lyrics, type a few words or a Song idea (names, places, a theme) and press AI Write to turn them into lyrics for 1 usage credit, or tick "Leave lyrics fully to AI" to have them written during generation at no extra cost. Every voice type except Chant needs words.
- Generate. Choose 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes and listen in the app.
Which voices, languages and styles can you choose?
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Category | Electronic; Rap & Hip-Hop; World & Latin; Soul, R&B & Pop |
| Voice type | Female, Male, Duet (male + female), Chant (wordless oohs and ahhs) |
| Language | English, Turkish, Spanish, German, Japanese, Portuguese, French, Italian, Korean, Zulu |
| How it's sung | Sung hook, Fully sung, Belted, Falsetto, Chopped, Spoken, Whisper, Chant, Rap, Ad-lib |
| Vocal tone | Warm, Bright, Dark, Raw, Breathy, Aggressive, Smooth, Gritty, Autotune, Vintage |
| Layers | Solo, Double, Harmony, Choir |
Choosing the wordless Chant voice type hides the language, lyrics and fine-tuning settings.
What file do you get, and does it include a beat?
Voice Lab is built to return the voice only: no beat, no instruments. The file is an MP3 at 48 kHz and 192 kbps; paid plans download it as MP3 or as WAV converted from that MP3 (a conversion, not a lossless source). To put music under it, ADD BEAT sends the vocal to Beat DNA, the AI song remixer (15 usage credits), which keeps your vocal as it is and builds a full track in the style you pick.
Can it sing in my own voice?
Yes, with My Voice on Pro and above. Sing a chorus you know for 15 to 30 seconds in a quiet room, ending with a short English verification phrase. Then choose My Voice in Song Lab and the song is generated in your voice. Each voice recording uses 5 usage credits and you can keep up to 2 voices; the Song Lab song itself is a separate generation that uses 10 usage credits. Your voice is used only in your own tracks and never shared, the raw recording is deleted after processing, and uploading someone else's voice is prohibited.
Can I record my own vocals instead?
Yes. Voice Record captures up to 3 minutes per take in the browser or the app, with a free metronome and quick effects. Enhance Voice makes a take clearer for 12 usage credits, and Add a Beat sends it to Beat DNA. Downloads need a paid plan.
Who is Voice Lab for?
- Producers who need a hook at the same BPM and key as their beat.
- DJs who want a chant, chopped vocal or ad-lib layer for an edit.
- Rappers and songwriters who want to hear a hook in another language first.
How much does it cost?
Start free with 15 usage credits on sign-up, plus 1 for each day you log in and no card: enough for one 30-second vocal to hear in the app. The Free plan cannot download.

Can I use the vocals commercially, and what about copyright?
Under our Terms of Service, content you create is yours and may be used commercially, subject to the conditions in the Terms. Only use lyrics and recordings you own or have permission to use: using other people's copyrighted material without permission is not allowed.
